Fundraising Concerts to be held at the Shoreham Elementary School all beginning at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 18. All proceeds go to the Newton Academy Restoration Fund.

Friday, March 7th - Big Spike Bluegrass

Saturday, April 12th - Snake Mountain Bluegrass

Friday, May 2nd - The Hibernators

Friday, June 6th - Maiden Vermont - for this concert only there will be a reduced $8 admission for seniors.

Grants awarded this year for roof repair:

Vermont Preservation Trust Grant - $15,000

Conservation & Housing Board Grant - $75,000

Walter Cerf Grant - $10,000

Sustainable Communities Grant - $5,000

Roof repair work to be completed by May 2008

Jeremiah Parker Restoration has won the bid for roof repair work and installing a new standing seam room on the building.
